In Roman myths, Aurora was the goddess of the dawn. The Inuit of Alaska believed that the Northern lights were the spirits of the animals they hunted in the wild. I have always been fascinated with the mystery of this unforgettable nature phenomena and wanted to recreate this spectacular array of light and color on canvas.
